Network North – Stocktake of Family/Whanau Participation 2007 (NZ)
The Northern DHB Support Agency (NDSA) on behalf of the Northern DHBs, engaged Health Outcomes International Pty Ltd (HOI) to conduct a Stocktake of family / whānau participation (FWP) programmes in Northern Region mental health and addiction services.  The need for the project was identified by the Regional Family / Whānau Forum, in association with Network North Coalition (NNC) as a first step in a process towards strengthening family / whānau participation (FWP).  For further information.

Auckland City Mission (NZ) – Auckland City Mission offers hope to individuals and families who may be experiencing a temporary set back or a long-term problem that needs expert attention.  The Mission provides immediate assistance, such as food, clothing and bedding, and staff work with individuals or families to find workable, long-term solutions to the issues they face.
Carers New Zealand (NZ) – Carers NZ was established by carers, for carers, in the mid 1990s and became a national charitable trust in 1998.  We provide information, advocacy and support for family caregivers and would be happy to forward you our newsletters and other resources.
Health & Disability Advocacy Service (NZ) – Independent advocates assist consumers to make sure that their rights are respected.  This service is free to everyone.  Advocacy services operate independently of government agencies, the Commissioner and providers and funders of health and disability services.  A primary goal of advocates is to assist consumers to resolve complaints about the quality of a health or disability service directly with the service provider.
Mangere East Family Service Centre (NZ) – Government Agency advocacy: WINZ, Housing NZ, Court support, Police, CYFS Household management, Parenting support, Relationship skills, negotiation and Voluntary Anger Management and Life skills.
Network North – Regional Family Forum (NZ) – The Northern Region has developed a collaborative and inclusive way of working together through well established networks.  The networks assist people who are interested in informing and influencing funding and planning decisions in the Northern Region of Aotearoa, New Zealand to have their say.  There are a number of stakeholder forums that contribute to decision making.  The regional forum that all others feed into is Network North Coalition.
