Supporting Families offers free mental health and addiction support to family / whānau supporting a loved one. Our service provides education, information, advocacy, workshops, support groups, face to face / telephone support, a website, as well as supporting workforce development.

Easy Access Housing
We offer short-term housing to homeless people with mental illness and addiction issues.
All of our houses are share-living and the number of places are limited.
We use a referral and assessment process for all applications.
The maximum length of stay is either 12 weeks, or 6 months depending on a person’s needs, and the availability of vacancies.
People supported by our service can expect:
- Respect and honesty
- Constant encouragement to search for permanent accommodation
- Assistance to explore other supports they may need (mental, addiction or other)
- Regular and reliable contacts with Easy Access Housing staff
- To lead their own journey and recovery
