Events & Training
We believe that families and whanau can play a key role in the recovery process for someone who experiences a mental illness.
We use the terms ‘family’ and ‘whanau’ to describe anyone who cares for or supports a person experiencing a major mental illness.
Supporting Families NZ has a network of branches throughout the country that provide information, education, support and training to the families/whanau of people experiencing mental illness.
Position Statement on behalf of families/whanau. Who we are, who do we serve and what do they want?
