At this time of grief and shock for New Zealand families, communities and as a nation, Supporting Families NZ wishes to convey aroha and support to those who lost someone close to them as a result of this unprecedented and terrible act of violence. The impact of the shootings in Christchurch will undoubtedly continue over a lifetime for those most closely affected. We are also mindful of the feelings and wellbeing of all people who may not seem immediately connected to this tragic event, but may need our support in time. Our organisation will stand shoulder to shoulder with others to provide help wherever we can. Tragically for many New Zealanders, this is indeed one of our darkest days. We hope and pray that some light will shine again soon for those families most affected.
